Hello,
I am trying to emulate a surface chart (area chart) in Excel. I can come relatively close, but not quite. I am sure that Teechart can handle it, but I really don't know how else to try..
I need someone to look at the Excel page, look at my code (VB6), and tell me what I can do to make it look similar.
Anyone?
I just need help!

Hi Andrew,
You can try to upload it somewhere so that we can download it or you could also post some screen-shots at the newsgroups so that we can try to figure out what is missing on your project.
Thanks in advance.

Here is a place to check out the issue.
http://www.instechnet.com/dl/browse.asp ... artProblem
All you will have to do is hit the 'Get Data' button and you will see how it differs from the Excel spreadsheet (Sheet 2 has the same date query, I believe, so that chart should look like the Teechart).
The only way to get it close is to raise the NumLevels to 2000, and the Pen Width to 10. However, that doesn't work for all of the date ranges..
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Thank you very much for your example.
TeeChart Contour series doesn't fill levels as on your Excel example. You could get an approach to what you request but its very difficult to get almost the same. I have added it to our wish list to be considered for future releases, but it is not possible at the present moment.
