Without warning I can no longer no longer change the type for a chart series. I right click on a chart and select "Edit Chart". I then select a series and click on "Change". At this point I get a "Steema Exception" form stating
"Our sincere apologies, an exception has happened ........ Err: List index out of bounds (3)".
Several weeks ago I upgraded TeeChart Pro and installed "v2014.11.140512 32bit VCL". This is a mature project that I have been working on for over a year without any chart issues. (I also have TMS Component Set and RichView installed.) But this also occurs when I add a chart to the main form of a new project.
Any ideas? I am desperate as I am demonstrating the software to my client next week.

Steema exception when trying to change a chart series
Re: Steema exception when trying to change a chart series
I am experiencing exactly the same problem!
It can be reproduced in a 1 form + 1 tchart project...
Any ideas on how to solve this?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
This was identified here.
As Narcís said in the public tracker B753, we can send a test version to the source code customers asking for it.

Re: Steema exception when trying to change a chart series
Ok thanks - didn't now it was identified...
Anyway found a fix - so I dont need to install new stuff... (if you have the source)
In the "VCLTee.TeeGally" unit make sure the selected tabsheet for TabTypes is "Series" - shown in attachment, then it Works...

Re: Steema exception when trying to change a chart series
I made sure that the Series tab was selected (I clicked on Add series to do this), but I still get the same error. See attached gifs.
This seems like a major major issue that should be fixed immediately and a new build offered to paying clients. I have now lost all ability to change the type for a series.

Re: Steema exception when trying to change a chart series
Hi Paul,
I assume the workaround Christian suggested was to be applied on the sources, not on the binary version.Paul wrote:I made sure that the Series tab was selected (I clicked on Add series to do this), but I still get the same error. See attached gifs.
Please, tell us what IDE are you using and we'll try to prepare a test installer for you.Paul wrote:This seems like a major major issue that should be fixed immediately and a new build offered to paying clients. I have now lost all ability to change the type for a series.
