ToolBox error!

hi,
I'm trying to evaluate TeeChartNET2VSNET2005Eval.exe, I encounter the following problem :
During the installation I get an error message telling me that the ToolBox.exe has failed

!! When I try to add it manually to Visual Studio 2005 (Choose Toolbox Item\COM Components and then browse and select TeeChart.dll) I still get the following message :

The type library C:\...\TreeChart.tlb could not be loaded.

I dont understand why it tells me TreeChart.tlb when I've choosen TreeChart.dll.

What should I do?

Hi Arash,

This is really strange as you are the first customer ever reporting that. Could you please send us TeeChart's install log so that we can try to find the error cause?

You can post your files at news://www.steema.net/steema.public.attachments newsgroup.

BTW: Install.log can be found at C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart for .NET v2\Examples\DemoProject\bin\ExecutableDemo (default english installation path).

I have gotton this "ToolBox.exe has failed" when installing the latest TeeChart. I just ignored it and everything seems to be working fine so far.

Hi Bruce37,

Was TeeChart already installed in your VS.NET ToolBox or did you have to install it manually?

You may also try running ToolBoxEditor tool available at C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart for .NET v2\Utils.
